...yeah, so I don't really write in this anymore (as you've probably noticed) But! I do have a Xanga. It's more of a random thoughts thing than a life thing though, like a dumping ground for things I think to be funny, so you might check it out if that sounds like it would appeal to you. http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=GoldenbarqsMon, Feb. 16th, 2004, 01:01 pm
I'm still alive, in case you were wondering. =P Wed, Feb. 4th, 2004, 09:00 pm Blarg
Man, today was a good day. And then I went to church. And I found out the gym teacher at Sweet Springs died. That sucks.
Anyone at Sweet Springs, even though you'll probably never see this, I'm thinking of you guys. Tue, Jan. 27th, 2004, 09:01 pm
I emerge from my hole once more to post! Yes, I've been playing Morrowind a lot lately. I got it from Ben for my birthday (Jan. 13) and I must say it's totally awesome. It's like virtual D&D. Of course, D&D is better, because of the group stuff that gets going on, but when you need a little lvl 40 mage action going on, you can't always just call up your usual group and have em head on over. That's one reason why Morrowind is awesome. Another reason is because it's so open-ended. I think I spent about 20 hours before I even got any further than the first mission on the main quest. There's so many side-quests to do and so many places to go it's insane. I'm a member of about six or seven guilds and each of them has their own sets of missions (quite a bit at that) and then there's just random family tomb/dwarven ruins raiding, and so on and so forth. I believe I've dumped about 60 hours or so into this game so far, and I think I'm about... halfway done with the main quest. That's crazy. Yeah, so go buy it. Watch out though, it's a little glitchy, and you need a semi-decent system to run it. So check that stuff out before you buy it. But if you can run it, go get it as soon as possible. But be warned. If you're anything like me it's gonna suck your life up. I'm normally impossible to get up out of bed in the morning to get ready to go to school. I've been getting up at about 7:00 or so after my mom's been yelling at me for about 15 minutes. But for the past two weeks or so, I've been getting up at 6:00 just to play it for a little bit before I have to go off to school. Yeah. I'm pathetic. But that's how much I love this game. I've never done it before for any other game. Anyway, enough of my supreme Morrowind-loving. Yes, this has been a good week as far as my computer is concerned. The other day my dad went and bought me an optical mouse, and it has a mousewheel, both of which are upgrades over my old mouse, which really sucked. So I'm happy. Woulda preferred a Logitech one, but oh well. Also, my dad's computer just exploded on him. (Well, not literally, but you get the idea.) So he bought a new one. When the computer store gets done looking at his stuff and fixing it, I get the old stuff. =) Upgraded processor, motherboard, I *think* soundcard, but I'm not sure, and more RAM. Yes. Totally awesome. My games will run much nicer. Battlefield especially will be nice because then I can throw in more AI bots so I don't have these five-minute gaps in the big levels where I don't see anyone, and not every single troop in the game is in a tank, so I can actually have fun sniping and machine-gunnin' instead of having to switch to an Anti-tank every two minutes (for those of you have played the game and enjoy being Anti-tank, that's great. But personally, I absolutely hate them. I cannot stand being an Anti-tank. So I get rid of that tank as soon as possible and then pistol someone and steal their kit. It gets frantic.) Plus I can make them a little smarter. So anyway, Missouri's been hit by a bit of snow and ice. Started Sunday, which sucked, cause then I didn't get to go see all my church friends. I miss them. Badly. That's what happens when you only see people twice a week. That's why I hate summer. I never see anyone. Anyway, it continued on to Monday, and we still had school. Then, today comes, and EVERY school in Missouri (well, on this side of the river) closes. But Knob? Noooooo. I guess we have to prove how dedicated we are to learning or some crap like that. Well, when buses and cars are going off the roads on a regular basis, don't you think that maybe the roads are a little too slick to be driving on? Blarg. Oh, and I hate Lieberman. Just so you know.
Fri, Jan. 2nd, 2004, 05:36 pm Tis me again!
Well, first off, Happy New Year everyone!!! Yes, although I guarantee you I will still write 2003 for the date for at least a month. But that's not the point. Anyway, Matt got back from New Mexico on Saturday. He's staying at his dads but he spent the night Saturday so we could take him with us to church and he could see everyone. I wish everyone was so eager to hang out with us churchfolk... *evil glances at Schuyler* Although he did come with everyone to my house since we weren't having community group that night. We all played some Battlefield 1942 (one of my new Christmas gifts... mmm... yummy...) and Daniel brought Soul Calibur 2. Brad brought his PS2 and everyone was all obsessed with Need for Speed... I thought it was okay, but not that special... although drag racing on a highway with maximum traffic was hilarious... Daniel was the only one that even made it to the end... plus one of them, I hit a ramp and flipped around in midair and started driving backwards... twas very fun. But anyway, Tuesday, Matt called and asked if I wanted to go to the city with him and his dad and brother, and having nothing better to do, I agreed. So we went up there and I spent all my money that I had on Celtic CDs (especially love my Irish Tenors CD... go buy one. They're good. Not as good as Gaelic Storm, but still.) Then his dad got lost on the way home. And we all yelled at John. And I was so tired I was slipping into an Irish accent. So we sang about Irish people getting drunk and smoking. It was fun. Had an awesome party at the church for New Years on Wednesday... it was lots of fun and there was lots of free food... at one point during the songs me and Josh and Katie and Matt all joined up in a line and started spinning around during the song... I was tired afterwards... but it was fun... ooh, and me and Matt made Katie a big K out of posterboard... long story... and I'm too lazy to post it. So sucks to be you. =P Yeah, and the Irish accent kicked in on the way home again. Strangeness. Thursday me and Matt and Aaron went to the movies with Katie and saw Cheaper by the Dozen. That's a funny movie. Especially if you like physical humor. I mean, they drop a kid down the laundry chute. That's golden. 'Course, we were talking during a lot of the movie... I think some people in the audience probably wanted to nuke our homes and eat our unborn children. But anyway. We also met Mac and Brad there. Afterwards we went to China Garden and Mac was kind enough to pay for my food since I had spent the rest of my money getting Matt's ticket (he forgot the bank wouldn't be open today and that's how he was planning on getting his ticket money) so I got me some orange chicken. That's good stuff. Yummy. Then Matt's dad picked him up and me and Aaron went home (Aaron was my ride) and we talked about video games for awhile... fun stuff. Then I went and played some Battlefield and went to bed. And that's about it. Yep. Yep. Forizzle. 'Cept school starts again on Tuesday. Blarg.

I hate Mr Alits tsts. Too man countries ot memorize. And too many important peopel.
And that is all. Sat, Nov. 22nd, 2003, 08:52 pm
Haha... found all these Irish poems and stuff... this one in particular cracks me up:
Some guinness was spilled on the barroom floor When the pub was shut for the night. Out of his hole crept a wee brown mouse And stood in the pale moonlight. He lapped up the frothy brew from the floor Then back on his haunches he sat. And all night long you could hear him roar "Bring on the feckin' cat"
I love this one too:
The Irish
Be they kings, or poets or farmers, They're people of great worth They keep company with the angels, And bring a bit of heaven here to earth
Well, haven't posted in quite a while, but I'm too lazy to actually post what all happened today... so instead I will relate the two most amusing parts.
#1 - The Yogurt Wars
Lunch today was very... interesting. Shawna brought strawberry yogurt, and after she took the lid off, she put it down on the table... but later when I wasn't paying attention she placed it facedown on the top of my hand... and you know how there's yogurt on the bottom of the lids? As if that wasn't enough... she starts repeatedly pressing down on my hand... so I remove the lid from my hand, and there's this giant smear of yogurt all over my hand... so I steal Amanda's lunch bag and wipe my hand with that... but that doesn't really work... so I steal Shawna's aluminum foil and use that instead... a temporary solution until I went and got my lunch... and when I got back and sat down Shawna instantly stole my pickle and took a giant bite out of it... she claimed that she wanted to make sure I didn't get a chance to hit her with it... I said that I got the pickle just so I could eat it... Dustin didn't want his so she gave that one to me... but then I gave it back because I didn't want to eat a pickle... I just got one so I could bludgeon her with it.
#2 - Secrets Between Friends
So either during Math or Desktop Publishing, Andrew wrote in Shawna's calculator "She is not uber-yummy" and Shawna asked what that was all about... he wouldn't tell her... so she wrote in it that she was going to bludgeon all of us... then Andrew wrote that "Jeremy won't get any viscous liquids... blush Jeremy, blush!" and Andrew told me during passing period to look at it... and so I did in Seminar... and of course I didn't blush... only Carolyn has that power. =P But it was quite interesting to see all that written on a calculator.
Oh yeah, plus Andrew gave me a ride home, and we played Smash Brothers... I completely trounced on him. It was funny. I said we should settle all future disputes by playing this game. (I had one in mind at the time, but anyway...) but he refused because he knew I would totally p0wn him. =)
Andrew and Carolyn said they counted Shawna's name 96 times on my front page... so they said I should say her name four more times to make it a nice round hundred.
So... minusing the time I mentioned her name in the bottom-most entry (cause it's gonna get pushed to the next page) and adding the time I said it at the beginning of this entry...
Shawna Shawna Shawna Shawna
There. 100 =)
Tue, Nov. 11th, 2003, 09:02 pm
Today was good...
Started out pretty tired cause my mom was going to the city today so last night I had spent awhile making my Christmas list... got to bed a little later than I would have liked. Oh well.
So I had band first, and that was fun... I love Good King Wenceslas. It's like the coolest Christmas song EVER. Yep. That's right. Although there's a windchime part and we had the windchimes, but no stand for it. So I was looking around for at least ten minutes and ended up cobbling together parts from about three different stands to get one that would work... and it comes up to my waist, maybe. It's a midget stand. But that's okay because I play it anyway. =) Ooh, plus Shawna's up in the front row with the flutes, and I'm all the way in the back with the percussion, and she turned around... and waved... and said hi... I was happy... lol... I'm pathetic.
So then Computer Programming came along, and me and Greg decided to ignore Wesley for the entire block and not talk to him. That wasn't as fun though, because that meant we couldn't insult him... I don't want to try doing that again... So we did one program, and then we did our math for the rest of the block. Yay. >=I
Anyway, American History rolled around, and it was boring... we were working on a reading on the Armenian Genocide, and one of the questions is about what some guy said, and I've looked through the entire reading at least three times, and he is not in there. I don't care what Mr. Altis says. He is nonexistant.
So then we went to lunch, which surprisingly wasn't bad. Very unusual. So I went to the bathroom, and when I got back, everyone had gone outside, which I didn't feel like doing... so I went and sat with Shawna and Mary and Amanda instead. After the bell rang and we all started heading out of the lunchroom, Andrew came inside and said, "How did I know you were gonna be in here with them," and then after Shawna went off to her locker, he told me, "I was gonna say 'How did I know you were gonna be in here with Shawna?' but I thought that would be a little obvious" or something to that effect. Haha, he's such a kidder... =) He also said, "I was talking to Carolyn in library aide, so if she says anything about "Shawna magic" (see note 1) or "Icing on the Shawna Cake" (see note two), you'll know why." Then I went back to American History and promptly fell asleep during The Guns of August.
Me and Greg rushed frantically to finish our Math in Seminar... borrowed Shawna's calculator because mine has mysteriously disappeared again, and I believe it was once again during French class. I think Mrs. Baker steals my calculators or something.
So we get to math and then everyone's complaining that the homework was too hard, so Cap'n Kroone got mad at them since it's just basic math, and then after we got the notes for the next assignment, we got about ten more minutes to work on it... so I wrote stuff in Shawna's calculator... then turned it off... she's gonna get a surprise when she turns it on. =D Oh, and speaking of which... if I keep borrowing her calculator, I was tossing around the idea of leaving messages each time I borrow it, and then maybe asking her out with the calculator after awhile. Or would that be weird? Comments appreciated.
So then Andrew can't give me a ride home after school, but Bill can... well, not really, he can only take me as far as Shawna's house. So I call my sister and ask her if she'll pick me up at Shawna's house... she reluctantly agrees... so I get in the car and head over there. Get there and say hi to Carolyn, then head in and wait for my sister to show up... in the meantime, Shawna boots up the computer and we talk about random stuff... she then goes to show me her class ring, but my sister shows up before she's done... so I don't get to see her ring... but I do get a hug instead. =)
Went home and played a blarg-load of F-Zero GX (rented it for this week) and then did some Earthbound as well... funny game indeed. Then I just cruised around the internet for awhile... nothing major... although my mom came home from Christmas shopping with SUBWAY FOOD!!! Huzzah! And a jacket so I have one until my band jacket arrives.
NOTE 1: In Earthbound, at the beginning it asks you lots of questions, and one of them is "What is your favorite thing?" So, answering truthfully, I put in "Shawna". Now, it turns out that the game takes your answer for that question and makes that the name of your main PSI Attack (which is like magic) so now Andrew always alludes to "Shawna Magic".
NOTE 2: Spaghetti dinner was last night. The seniors did it for Project Grad. Now, of course I wanted spaghetti, because, as Bill puts it, "(u know u only went cuz shawna was)"... and he's right. So I was talking with Andrew, and he said the same thing, so I said, "Well, the spaghetti was good... but... it was like... if Shawna was a cake, that's the icing. The extraness." or something to that effect. =)
Sat, Nov. 8th, 2003, 10:29 pm
Had study group last night... it was fun... Andrew didn't make as much of a mess as last time... we actually got work done too! Well, I didn't, and I don't think Andrew did either, but everyone else did. Although Shawna's work involved mostly looking through pictures, so I don't know if that counts...
Found out alot about Shawna's story she's writing. Sounds very cool, I'll have to take a look at that whenever she gets around to it. She's a good illustrator, too. Which reminds me, I need to finish writing my parody as well as finally scan in Arachnidude...
Dustin stopped by for a little bit, then went off to see the Matrix.
Ooh! Dustin gave me a teddy bear! It has a shirt that says, "Hugs are better than drugs!" Haha... he's cool...
So Amanda's dad came to pick Shawna and Amanda up, and we were throwing around Kikker-tu (or made-up Pokemon off-brand thingy) and Shawna throws it at Andrew and completely misses and almost ends up hitting Amanda's dad... funny stuff. =) So then they left... and I got a hug again... *drool*
Andrew spent the night though, and we started off by playing SMB3... that was fun... we didn't finish it... but whenever Andrew left the room I would battle him so I could steal all his cards and then make him lose... I stole at least five one-ups from him that way... =) Then I played Earthbound for awhile ( on the Shawna couch! =D ) and then Andrew fell alseep... so I went upstairs and jumped in bed.
Today I did a whole bunch of chores, and then went to get some shoes and a birthday card for Daniel, among various other things. Then I went to Daniel's birthday party for awhile while my parents and sister went to see the Matrix... they didn't like it too much... although they did see Shawna and Mary and Abby and Josh and various other people... I wish I had gone there instead... now I feel bad that I thought that... I see Shawna way more than I see Daniel since he's homeschooled, and I think about skipping out on his birthday party just so I can hang out with Shawna for just a little bit longer? =S
Well, anyway, came home, think I'm gonna play some Earthbound... yeah, fun game.

So I'm sittin' here bored in Computer Programming... blah blah blah blah... Wesley's dumb... he smells like a musk ox... blah blah blah blah... Anyway, yesterday Knob had their last home game... and they lost... but I was so close to getting bonus points for predicting the score... it was us 14, them 28, and that was the score until the last eight seconds and then they scored again... blarg... Anyway, I stayed for pep band... seems like me and Shawna were catching each other's glances more than we normally do... but that could just be wishful thinking... =) So anyway, I bought some hot chocolate... it wasn't really hot anymore... but anyway, I was drinking it and it was making me feel sick... I said maybe it was like mayonnaise... it gets grosser as it gets older... and I was like "Chocolate Mayonnaise!" and Shawna kinda gave me this weird look... "slappes-toi!" she doesn't think anyone would buy it... oh well... and then her jacket smelled like mustard, so she had me smell it... her pants had mustard on it too, but there was no asking to smell that... It was really cold... brr... So we got back in after the game, and we just hung out for a little bit... then Shawna's mom showed up and they left... I got a hug first though =) Went home, played XIII for a little bit, then went to bed... that's about it...
Sun, Nov. 2nd, 2003, 08:40 pm
Went to Dustin's again today to play D&D... it was fun...
Stopped by Shawna's house to give her a ride and drop off the stuff she left at my house yesterday (her tickets for the spaghetti dinner, her happy rock-thingy, and contact case) and ended up waiting for Dustin because he had begun walking there, so we ate some Bread of the Dead and waited for Dustin to show up... then went off to his house.
Oh, and just for the record, Ben Short is weird. Seriously.
Anyway, we picked up where we left off last time, that is, after the zombie attack. We stayed the night at the inn (they gave us a free room in exchange for having dealt with the zombie threat) and I didn't want to get out of bad, so Shawna slapped me... I tried to hit her back but missed... so then I tried to throw her out the window... but that didn't work... then some officer came in and requested our assistance... so I tried to throw him out the window... and soon found myself bound and being dragged through the city... oops...
So anyway, I later went to the General Store so that I might buy a sheleligh as well as a flute, so that I might have some musical instruments to play... there was this weird creature (a Tokra or Tokrew or something) that was fuzzy and said unusual things... I picked a sheleligh off the shelf and tried to hit the thing with it, and first Shawna tried to tackle me to stop me from doing it, but she missed and so I was about to hit it, but it dodged and then kicked me or something... and then the shopkeeper started coming out from the back, so I wisely placed the sheleligh back on the shelf, lest he think I was stealing it or something. Then I bought a sheleligh and flute. Cause those are the only two instruments I can play right now. =)
Anyway, so we met up with the king, and I said or did something, I can't remember what, and Shawna tried to hit me, so we both rolled the d20... she rolled a 20... and I rolled a 1. Dustin made us reroll, because if we went with that, Shawna would have crushed my skull... so we rerolled, and I got a 20 and she got a 1... so we rerolled again, and I got a higher roll, so she missed me and ended up diving into a pillar and twisting her ankle... so I think she tried to hit me again. =)
We headed off to another town to attempt to rid it from its curse of undead, and we went by carriage... Shawna, being the klepto she is, stole a candle from Cody (which she promptly broke into tiny little pieces) and my sheleligh! She was messing around with it and ended up breaking a string.. blarg... and then we got to the town and it was on fire, so I tried to bribe the carriage-driver-person to turn around... but he wouldn't accept it... so after we got out and he started driving away I shot an arrow at him... he stopped and got out, so I tried to shoot him... but I missed. He threw a club at me which also missed, then he got back in his carriage and drove away. It was then that Shawna realized she had never gotten the sheleligh out of the backseat! Ack! I don't have a sheleligh anymore... I am sad...
So anyway, we went into the town, and the gate closed behind us, and undead were pouring over the wall... I got my only hit of the entire evening at that point, and everybody else repelled them...well, except for Shawna, she was just hiding in Cody's backpack. So then we came upon a circle of skeletons attacking a poor, defenseless hobbit, so we attacked them... I shot an arrow twice but both times ended up missing the skeletons and almost hitting Ben... he cut my bowstring after that point... =(
So the hobbit is lying on the ground unconscious, so I decide to go through his pockets... and Shawna kicks him, so he wakes up to find my hand in his pocket... I take my hand out and gave him this big smile... I am later told it should have been a shaky smile, but anyway... I give him a rel (the currency) to try and calm him down, and he says "I'm not a man-whore!" so I went off and played my flute... which I am told is unmanly... as well as my name (Togo) and then Shawna turned my skin a light shade of purple... so now everyone thinks I'm gay... Dangit... =)
After that Ben left, so we stopped playing. I believe Ben and Cody (as well as Dustin) are more serious players, while Shawna and I seem to be more of the comic relief of the group... but I think that fits us as people.
Dustin and Cody played some SSBM while me and Shawna watched, then my sister showed up to take me to community groups, so Shawna went up to say hi... and then I got a goodbye hug... huzzah... =)
Went to groups, ate lots of cookies... mmm...
We somehow got onto the subject of how I put makeup on on Friday, and Eunice (my community group leader, and a very cool person) was like, "What? Was it more permanent marker?" and I said, "No, it was real makeup," and she asked, "Who put it on you?" and I said, "Shawna," and then Katie said, "You'd let her do anything to you," so Eunice was like, "Oh, who's this Shawna?" and Katie said, "Jeremy's friend... she's really short... and really nice... she let us come into her house and she didn't even know us! Plus she's a senior," and Eunice was like, "Oh, Jeremy... going after older women now, huh? Man, your face is really red," and it probably was... it sure felt red.
So here I am at home now... probably gonna go play the XIII demo... it's interesting... or maybe Halo... who knows...
Sat, Nov. 1st, 2003, 08:13 pm
It's a little late, but I thought I'd put it in here anyway...
Sorry for not posting in a while... my Internet's been acting up lately...
Ooh! I got a new video card! Huzzah! Now I can play Halo and Battlefield 1942 and whatnot. Huzzah! Speaking of Halo, I picked up the demo for it... it's awesome. I might actually end up buying it sometime... there's too much good stuff! Blarg!
Anyway, I would have posted yesterday, but we had friends over for a study group... Dustin, Andrew, and Shawna stayed the night, Mary left at about ten. Andrew got in trouble for staying the night though... I don't think he was supposed to... but anyway...
So we were supposed to study last night, but we didn't. At all. We just hung out in the basement. Shawna brought over this gigantic bag of Skittles and we started throwing all the tiny bags at each other... mine always ended up nearly going up her skirt (although she was wearing pants underneath, it didn't really matter) and Andrew wouldn't believe me when I said my aim was just off and that I had been going for her knee.
Anyway, Shawna had her makeup with her, and we were bored, so I had her put makeup on me... I had green eyeshadow, some gold lip gloss, and some yellow-y foundation of some sort on my hand... made a cool little design. Andrew and Jess wanted pictures for some strange reason, I think it's for Operation Ringbearer or something... Yeah..
Anyway, we took Mary to the church parking lot, because that's where her parents were (along with her car) and while we were there me, Andrew, and Shawna took the opportunity to run over to Shawna's house, and get some candy, since trick-or-treating had ended like an hour ago. I got Rollos. Huzzah! They're good. Then we ran back to the church parking lot, and there was a cop car there... and they gave us candy. Woot woot! Raise the roof!
Anyway, so we got back to my house, and then we all listened to music for awhile... Shawna had this one CD that was reallllllllllllly awesome... can't remember who it was, though... I must figure it out... cause it was really good. And speaking of Shawna and really good... She can sing. Wow. She had this ballad she wrote, and it was good... and she was singing it, and she was real good... I was amazed. She should be in choir. Seriously. And I'm not speaking from a biased standpoint, I truly think she's an awesome singer. We all said she should record her stuff so we could burn it onto a CD and listen to it whenever... I know I would pay for one of those.
Anyway, we all watched Secret of Nimh, and it was... umm... pretty boring... Dustin and Andrew were trying to figure out symbolism in the movie... the rest of us were either being quiet or mocking it. And speaking of symbolism, the end of that movie was a little risque! They had the girl crow tackle Jeremy into the grass... and then you don't see them for like twenty seconds, but there's all this laughing and giggling... and he had just been talking about building a love nest... geez! How come no one ever "ties knots" for me?
After that we went upstairs and then put in Ghostbusters, cause we were getting kinda sleepy... woke up my parents, but they went to sleep pretty soon after that... and I wasn't the first one asleep this time! Huzzah! It was Dustin and Jess! I think I was after them though...
Anyway, we all woke up the next morning... we talked for awhile, and then we watched Miss Congeniality... Andrew left before we started, and then after that we took Shawna and Dustin home... there were three of us in the backseat, and Shawna had a couple different backpacks, so we were kinda squashed back there... I liked it, though... constant... contact... *drool*... Haha... I'll just go ahead and say I'm pathetic because I know at least three people who are gonna say that anyway... So we showed up at Shawna's house just as her mom was getting in... handed off her stuff to her mom, and then waved her goodbye... I miss her... Then we dropped of Dustin, waved goodbye to him, and sped off to Warrensburg.
We went to Walmart, and I spent the whole time in Electronics... played alot of Viewtiful Joe... I'm probably gonna buy that game... it's really cool... and styling... yeah.
Came home and did a lot of work... my hands were numb. We were working outside in freezing weather and the mud was cold... we did it for like three hours! Blarg!
Well, that's about it, so I'm off!
Haha... I lucked out and didn't have to do my book report today... Carolyn took like ten minutes getting hers set up, successfully pushing mine and Darnell's presentation back...
Haha... today in French, Carolyn said, "Hey, Jeremy, how was your weekend? My sister was over at your house..." Haha, that Carolyn person, she's funny. =) Oh, and also, we were organizing words to form sentences, and we had a refrigerator left over, as well as in front of, and one of our sentences was, "Why did you marry your fiancee?" and I told them to make it "Why did you marry your fiancee in front of the fridge?" (although this was after they wouldn't go for "Why did your marry the fridge?" so whatever... =)
In Ecology today, Coach told us all these amusing stories about giving blood... I can't remember any off of the top of my head, but take my word for it, they were funny.
Dustin bought us all NesTea at lunch again... huzzah! Except it seemed as if nobody wanted theirs... they wouldn't give it to me though... so I stole the rest of Shawna's chicken sandwhich instead...
Blarg, I hate Intro to Business. I fell asleep in class again. Blarg. It is so so so so so so SO boring. Blargness! 'tis the sucky! Although it was somewhat fun in that I did get to threaten Sarah with sign language... hehehe...
Haha, we talked about weird things today on MSN... like how Trotsky was killed... (was it a nifty ice pick?) and monkey thongs (huzzah! I want funky monkeys in my pants!) and what size thong I wear, were I to pick up a monkey thong... we may go to Walmart and buy one... then I will have monkey underwear... =)
I had a good long talk with Bill today about Shawna... just various things... cool things about her, Bill gave me a few words of encouragement, but wasn't heavily pushing me (that's when it gets annoying), and how Bill thinks Shawna may be catching on... and might like me too... here's what he said (hope he doesn't mind me posting this): Never Let A Fool Kiss You, Never Let A Kiss Fool You says: well its just today at the whole senior cap and gown ordering thing... she got this memory book and i glanced at it real quick and it said "parties i went to:___" and i was like "hmmmm... parties i went to: jeremy's house!" and she just kinda gave one of those thoughtful smiles... u know the kind... And perhaps we're both reading into this a little too much, but when he said that... I dunno... it just felt... relaxing... calm... like everything in the world's right, you know? Kinda hard to explain... and once again, maybe we're reading into this a little too much... but maybe not...
Haha... today was daylight savings time, and I forgot to set my clock back... almost went to church an hour early. =)
Anyway, Dustin and Shawna came by around 1 o clock... we watched Rat Race... I love that movie... me and Shawna were quoting it a bit, so Dustin sometimes had a little problem hearing everything... but he enjoyed it... as did we. We got the dictionary and discovered that strip supposedly means completely naked.... but I still disagree, because then how can you say you stripped to your underwear? Bah, the English language is confusing.
Oh, Dustin got rubbed on by my dog Tiberius... so his knee smelled... Dustin was saying it was probably drool or something... Shawna said that he licked her face sometimes... so I went and smelled Dustin's knee... then I smelled Shawna's face... then Dustin's knee again... then Shawna's face... then I got Pinesol for Dustin's knee... Shawna's face didn't need any help smelling good... ;)
Tried to prove to Dustin that I could carry a longbow in D&D... he said my character is too short... I said I could carry it sideways... he said no, because it was about as tall as he was... so I told him to jump into my arms and I didn't think he was going to... so I started walking forward and he jumped and I dropped him in surprise and jumped over him and we both fell to the ground... very amusing...
Ooh, Shawna was looking through these clothes catalogues, and there was monkey underwear! I told Dustin to buy me some... I don't think he's going to though... oh, and Shawna has the coolest sunglasses ever. I want them. Badly. Someone buy me a pair.
Well, I really have to go work on my book review... so later for now...
